Once upon a time in a fascinating city full of history, where the 1984 Winter Olympic Games took place, three girls became very good friends. In the early '90s they moved to two different countries and three different cities. The first girl moved to the city where the Queen lives in Buckingham Palace. The second girl moved to the city where the lovable bear "Winnie The Pooh" was born. The third girl moved to the city that is the home of the world's tallest free standing structure - the CN Tower and the world's longest street - Yonge Street (ca. 1,896 km long). They weren't sure they'd ever see each other again.... Then 17 years later they met again in the Big Apple.

Plaza Hotel - New York opened to the public on October 1, 1907. At the time, it cost $12.5 million to construct. When opened, a room at Plaza Hotel was only $2.50. Today, the same room costs $3,750.00

His routine consists of playing guitar wearing only cowboy boots, a hat, and a pair of briefs. He later inspired the Naked Cowgirl, who wears pasties, cowboy boots, a hat, and a mini-skirt.

The souvenir must have of the night was a Rockette-tini that came in a plastic martini glass with Rockette legs AND a blue, light-up stir stick - Totally Cool! - it made the whole adventure worth it.

The Radio City Music Hall is a gorgeous theater and it just adds that extra special magical touch to the Christmas feeling.

"Christmas Spectacular"

The show was "Spectacular" as the name suggests and, as always, the falling soldiers was the favorite part of the show. My friends and I want to be Rockettes!!!

The Statue of Liberty

Located on a 12 acre island, the Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of the United States and is a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886, designated as a National Monument in 1924 and restored for her centennial on July 4, 1986.

Ground Zero

On the morning of September 11, 2001, two hijacked planes bound for California intentionally crashed into the two towers of the World Trade Center. The towers collapsed within two hours of the collisions.The original 7 World Trade Center, located just north of the towers, collapsed ten hours after that. Approximately 3,000 people died. After the attacks, hospital workers and police officers began referring to the World Trade Center site as "Ground Zero".

The Empire State Building

The Empire State Building is a 102-story Art Deco skyscraper in New York City at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and West 34th Street. Its name is derived from the nickname for the state of New York. It stood as the world's tallest building for more than forty years, from its completion in 1931 until construction of the World Trade Center's North Tower was completed in 1972. Following the destruction of the World Trade Center in 2001, the Empire State Building again became the tallest building in New York City and New York State.The Empire State Building has been named by the American Society of Civil Engineers as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.
